Ultimately, we would like to do that. At the moment, we don't have time to fit it in in the short view. Since we have to keep our days jobs for the moment, we are limited in what we can work on. This year looks to be set with the OSRS core book and then the magic system (which is a whole series of books we have been working on for almost a decade). Then we'll probably need to produce a monster manual and maybe some adventures to show off the new system. At that point we'd probably move to a campaign setting. It could be Oathbound (Anvil, maybe), or it could be a new one. That won't be decided for a while.

Here's one. Currently, the magic system has yet to be adapted to the final ruleset, so I don't want to post too much, but here' the basic idea. Should be fairly familiar to anyone who has played

FIRE BLADE
Prerequisite: Create fire, Shape fire
Cost: 1d6 mana (+ 1 per additional round)
Casting Time: 1 Action
Range: Touch
Area: 1 Weapon
Duration: Maintained
Effect: Adds fire damage to attacks
Resist: None (may require melee touch attack if effect is undesired)

This spell causes the caster's weapon (or that of another) to spring into magical flames. These flames do not consume the weapon, but add 2d4 points of fire damage to anything it strikes. The weapon also may be used as a torch to set things ablaze.
