Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I gather from the Epidemic Books website, the new oathbound books will be in pdf format. My question is twofold: 1, will any of the new books be in print? And if so, when will they come out?

At current my understanding is that both Oathbound: Seven and Oathbound: Eclipse will be in pdf. Eclipse is also available in print form. I know www.paizo.com has a pre-order link here:

There has been mention of a print Oathbound: Seven but I am uncertain as to how to pre-order it... but I want it very bad.

Do you mean that the print version of Oathbound: Eclipse is already out? If so, can I find it in game stores or do I have to go to Paizo.com and order from them? Are there other stores or websites that I can buy Oathbound Eclipse in print? If the print version of Oathbound: Eclipse isn't out yet in stores, when will it be releasesd?

Eclipse is being printed now. We are releasing at Gen Con in August. I imagine they will start trickling into stores sometime shortly after that. Feel free to bug your local game store about it! I don't know if many of them even know to order copies, since our marketing budget is small.
Oathbound Seven is PDF only. However, we will setup a print on demand deal, so you can have one printed up if you really want. However, since it's color, the POD price is pretty absurd. Something like 80 dollars I would imagine. We will probably print up like 2 for our own use since it will cost us that much too for each one. There will be 3000 copies of Eclipse, so I think there should be enough for everyone.

If this post sounds impolite, please for give me.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend Gencon, so I must ask if the print on demand deal is acessible from home on the internet. If so, how would I would I go about contacting you guys? Is it possible to contact and order a copy of Eclipse from you via email? Do you accept credit cards? Is there a due date by which I must meet so that I may order a copy of Oathbound: Eclipse in print format?
Lastly, is it possible for you to inform me if and when Oathbound Seven is ever released in print?
Thank you for your time. edited by DarkSunLord1 on 6/29/2010

Eclipse isn't print on demand, we paid for a full print run. The books are printed and currently are in transit. You can pre-order it from the Paizo store now and they will ship you a copy as soon as it arrives in our warehouse. Once we have the books we'll offer them for sale here too on our website. We'll accept paypal, which you can use a credit card for. We'll announce when they come in.
Oathbound Seven is PDF only, but you will be able to order a Print on Demand copy if you really want. That will be done via a store called CreateSpace (which is part of Amazon). We'll post a link when it's ready. PDF sales will be through the Paizo store.

Do you mean that Paizo is selling the print version now?

As of right this moment all I see are the pre-orders. And the cover image is still wrong, the actual cover is WAY better. Plus it's full color and gorgeous all the way through.

Would there be any way to get a POD version of Oathbound Seven done in simple black & white, so as to hopefully bring down the ~$80.00 cost to something a little more realistic? I'm not a big fan of spending hours reading books on a pc screen...as I do some of that at work every day already. Or maybe I'd be better off just ordering the PDF and simply printing it myself at home?

Yes. When you buy the PDF we'll give you a zip file with both versions. The black and white one will also not have borders and page textures and stuff that kill your printer.

I noticed that on Amazon that Oathbound: Eclipse is going to be for sale starting on September 27, 2010.
Is this true? edited by DarkSunLord1 on 8/14/2010
