A Prison of Light is the first book in a four part young adult series that Todd and I wrote between Bastion Press and Epidemic. It's a fun, multi-dimensional, fast-paced romp across creation. Funny, serious, thrilling, you name it, it kicks ass. It was a total blast to write, and just as fun to read. We came this close to a deal with Scholastic, but it fell through at the last minute, and so we said screw it, we can do it ourselves. We'll be doing print on demand, so you'll be able to get your hands on a copy as soon as Todd lays out the files. Yeah, it's a kids series, but adults seem to love it too. Buy it! You won't be disappointed.

We did. After the first five sold out we pulled out our own personal copes that were all bent up and covered in Dr. Pepper and those sold out too... at full price even!

And speaking as someone who had nothing whatsoever to do with Sara & the Chimera, you are going to love this book. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Get it now, before it becomes the worldwide sensation it's sure to be!!!

Well, the monster manual got in the way. Ended up being more work then we through. We wrote the first half of S&C, and will jump back on the second half in a week or so. As for the date... we need to meet when we restart this and figure it out. We'll post something soon.

Fun book, I was expecting a bit more art (maybe not as much as Westerfeld's steampunk trilogy, but some more), can't wait to read the next one!
Oh, and when might they visit the Forge?
