As one of the main concepts of OB is evolution, I can see it both ways. In the positive, the Forge's power assists the breeder. In the negative, it causes so much novelty (random mutations) that breeding is made much more difficult. Which would you use?

And the forge's magic pushes all things to their extremes. I would throw out there that the possibility of disastrous failure (or disastrous success) is much higher.
