This came up in one of our games. Here's how you should adjust your base stats for the following types of characters. You are welcome!
Melee:
Make Body your high stat (shortchange Spirit to do so)
Skew Body to Str for Attack/Damage, to Fitness for Defense/Tanking
Skew Mind to Wit
Skew Emotion to Cla, or possibly for Depth for more endurance at low levels
Ranged:
Make Mind Your High Stat (shortchange Body to do so)
Skew Mind to Int for Damage, Wit for Accuracy
Skew Emotion to Clarity
Skew Sprit to Conn
Magical:
Make Spirit Your High Stat (shortchange Body to do so)
Skew Spirit to Mag for Attack, Conn for Defense
Skew Mind to Int for Attack, Wit for Defense
Skew Emotion to Depth
