If the Forge's universe is cut off from the rest of the multiverse (more or less), where do the spirits of the dead go?

Good question. Where do they normally go? That's really depends on your belief system. I do believe that we mentioned in the Stygia chapter of Eclipse that the dead are not barred from leaving the Forge. So I think they should be able to go wherever as a DM you wish.
