Writing, illustrating, typesetting and just in general spending every spare moment on Eclipse was one of the most intense experiences of my life, i am still recovering. that being said when i got to hold the proofs in my hands the other day, it was all worthwhile. it is truly a work of art with not a single page the same as any other. i have to say that i am totally jazzed up for future projects and topping our selves, we have a ton of future ideas, from further Oathbound products, to our own rules and magic system, to whole other brand new worlds to show you. Get ready, you're in for the ride of your life.

Any Questions?

Will there be more channeling classes in Eclipse? A lot of the PrC classes, Artificer and Disjoiner seem to come to mind, suggest a specific flavor and certain mechanics that lean toward a mass of variations. You mention your own rules, do you mean for PFRPG compatible stuff or something new entirely?

there are new classes and races of all kind in Eclipse and one that fits the bill for a Chaneling class. the rules are something far off still but we have been working on them for years,, (totally new) in are weekly games and they are truly, slick, fun, adaptable and revolutionary. The magic system is just so amazing and well at the same time works like magic would or as i say does in the real world. It all something we hope we get the chance to bring into the light of day soon, and if Eclipse does as well i Think its going to then "sky" is the limit.

When you say "totally new" are we talking totally new rules engine or a totally new magic system that's still PFRPG/d20 3.5 compatible?

the magic system will be very easy to adapt to other rule systems and we will most likely do a PFRPG translation. are you going to PaizoCon i may come there with an advanced cop of Eclipse and some other tasty treats

Well, I will tell myself I didn't miss anything yet. It would be great to have an opportunity to check it all out though. I am really glad you guys gave us the forums to use. I am torn between trying to get my players to read them, and nervous about spoilers in the same breath. I know one of them (who DMs the Forge as well) will eventually make it here.

I have been posting links via Facebook and mentioning it casually, but I will try to get a few of them over here ASAP. Maybe experience point bribes.

Hi! Sorry for the delay. I was off getting married! Kissing
Anyway, I'm back now, mostly recovered, and we are back in business!

We didn't include any channeling classes in Eclipse, nor did we do any prestige races or arrival gifts. All that stuff is pretty much covered in Oathbound Seven, and we didn't want Eclipse to feel like a repeat. We tried to take a fresh look at this and come up with some new ideas. My favorite so far is the "Adaptations", which is something like a template that your character has to grow into. I don't want to give too much away yet.

We do have our own rules system we developed last year, but we aren't going to foist it upon you guys. We might use it for a future setting that's completely different though. However, separate from that is our magic system, which we originally conceived of back in the Bastion days, and which has evolved over time. That's essentially a separate mana-based magic system for Pathfinder that is more "realistic" and far less randomized. It can be used alongside the standard system as well, we intend to simple create character classes that use the new system than can be played as alternatives to the wizard and sorcerer.

Oh, and that (the magic system) is actually going to be our next major product (not counting a number of Eclipse adventures). The release dates are totally up in the air now. Basically, if we can't sell our our Eclipse run, we won't be able to afford to print anything else, and we will have to switch to PDF only. If we can print the magic system, we will, as it lends itself well to book form, but that will ad time to the release.
